We do not track your browsing habits across the web, we do not build advertising profiles, and we do not sell data to third parties.
2. The Actual Storage We Use: Technical Only
Our audit confirms that SITEIT does NOT use non-essential tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or third-party analytics cookies.
The website utilizes only one single client-side technical storage item:
- Technology: Browser Local Storage (localStorage)
- Storage Key: 'siteit_lang'
- Provider: First-party (siteit.studio)
- Purpose: Strictly necessary to remember your preferred display language (English, Greek, or Russian) as you navigate between pages or return to the site.
- Stored Data: A two-letter language code ('en', 'el', or 'ru'). It contains zero personal identifiers, zero tracking tokens, and zero IP data.
- Duration: Persistent in your browser until manually cleared or reset via the language selector.
3. Why We Do Not Display a Cookie Banner
Under the EU ePrivacy Directive (Directive 2002/58/EC as amended) and guidance from European data protection authorities, strictly necessary storage required to deliver a service explicitly requested by the user—such as remembering a chosen interface language—is exempt from prior consent requirements.
Because SITEIT does not deploy marketing cookies, advertising trackers, or cross-site analytics, we do not burden our visitors with intrusive, manipulative cookie consent popups or artificial 'Accept All' banners.
4. How You Can Control Your Storage
Although our single technical storage item contains no personal data, you can clear or disable local storage at any time through your browser's privacy settings:
Chrome / Edge: Settings → Privacy and Security → Site Settings → Cookies and site data. Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data. Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
Note: Clearing local storage will simply return the language switcher to its default setting (English).
